I was back in New York for a week filled with Sleepy Hollow High School senior sessions, and I have to say… fall in New York never disappoints.  It really is one of the most beautiful backdrops for senior portraits.

I knew Viva’s session was going to be fun and creative from the moment she sent me her Pinterest mood board. I love when a senior comes to me with a vision—it gives me a glimpse into her personality and the vibe she wants to create.

From the very beginning, this session just felt easy. I gave Viva a little direction, then let her be herself, and that’s when the magic happens. Her confidence, personality, and natural beauty really shone through.

For me, senior photography is about so much more than simply taking beautiful photographs. It’s about creating an experience where a senior feels comfortable, confident, and completely herself. When that happens, the images feel authentic rather than overly posed—and they become photographs you’ll look back on with so much fondness.

Viva’s session was exactly that. Fun, creative, effortless, and completely her.
